Curriculum
1.The graduates can
take courses of other groups, but the elective credits of cross-group in a
semester couldn’t be over the one-third credits of total credits or a course.
But if you had gotten two-third graduate credits of your own group, and receive the permission from your advisor, then you could
hand in cross-group application and take any courses and credits as you want.
2.If you are graduates of Family Education
who are not the students of education or related education departments, you have to take 4 credits of
education base coures. If you are graduates of Counseling and Psychology who never take
credits of couses “Psychological test and educational statistics” (3 to 4 credits) as well as
“The theory and skills of Counseling”(3 to 4 credits), then you have to get the
credits by undergraduate courses after starting school.
3.Full-time
graduates can take 13 credits at most, and part-time graduates can take 10 credits at
most. If you also have attended the Teacher education, or attended undergraduate base courses base
course, then you could get 6 to 8
credits more.
Guidance for Study
1.Every class will have a mentor in order to help the graduates to pursue the research or to study. The graduate over 2nd
grades will be guided by advisor. For the part-time graduates, you will have a
mentor when
you are first grade to third grade.
2.The
graduates of the 2nd grade can apply for permission to have an advisor to
supervise your research as well as papers
writing-up.
3.The graduates should at least get the two-third credits of Total credits
(except full-time practical training), and then you could apply the oral defense of research proposal of
master’s thesis.
4.In order to help your study and research, every graduates (include the third
grade graduates) should attend the symposium or conference held by our
department and the
graduate
student association (include Family day). Otherwise, Graduates of 1st and
2nd grade should attend 2 seminars related to your study field of a semester
held by our department, for example: special topic speech or disquisition (at
least 2 hours), workshops and so on.
5.If you couldn’t attend these academic activities (shown on the point 6), for a particular reason, you could choose the
other ways as below:
(1). Write the reflection over 3,000 words and hand in to mentor or advisor.
(2).Receiving the permission of mentor or advisor, and handing out the
application, then you can attend symposium or conference held by the other
institutions.
6.Every graduate should attend 6 research proposal meeting or 6 master’s thesis
oral examination
meetings.
The qualifications about graduation from the school
1.To get the total credits of your group.
2.The research proposal of master’s thesis must be passed.
3.You have to give two journal papers at least on the formal
journals or periodicals. As well, one of the articles should be finished by one
author.
4.The master’s thesis must be finished and handed out to the department .
5.To pass English basic ability identification.
