The Ph. D. Program of Agricultural Science (PPAS), NCYU, was re-named from Graduate Institute of Agriculture since 2010. We offer a combined program for Ph. D. degree in Agricultural science. PPAS divided to seven research fields including Agronomy, Horticulture, Forestry and Natural Resources, Wood Based Materials and Design, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, and Agricultural Biotechnology. We assembled all the faculty members in the College of Agriculture and accepted the foreign nationality students. The mission of PPAS is to provide students advanced knowledge and training on Agricultural Science to become specialists with expertise in traditional agriculture and in newly developed biotechnology as well. The long-term goal of PPAS is to develop itself as a key agricultural research center in Taiwan.
