Undergraduates should complete a minimum of 128 credits. ( 30 General Education course credits, 4 Common Compulsory course credits, 54 Compulsory course credits for Department, 44 Elective course credits and 15 Free course credits) The curriculum contains seven major course categories, including Chinese linguistics, Chinese ideologies, classical literature, contemporary literature, folk literature, Taiwanese literature, and applied Chinese.
MA students should complete a minimum of 30 credits. (4 Compulsory course credits and 26 Elective course credits) The master’s thesis is 6 credits but not be included in the total number of credits needed for graduation.
