NCYU Rock Music Final Presentation Rocks Your World

　　Jointly organized by the Pop Music Club, Rock Music Club and Popular Music Club of National Chiayi University, rock music final presentation “Face the Music--Rock Never Dies” will kick off at the performance square of the Chiayi City Cultural Park on June 2nd at 3:30 p.m. Music lovers in Chiayi are welcome to the grand event to feel the passion of these young students for rock music.

　　This marks the first cross-campus joint presentation of student music clubs in NCYU. It features professional performances not only by members of student clubs in NCYU, but by specially invited clubs from National Chung Cheng University and Toko University. The presentation will draw to a climactic end with the performance by the young singer-songwriter Zheng Yi-Nong. By giving spectacular performances, they hope to transport the audience to the mesmerizing world of rock music, where they will feel the excitement and power of every beat and fall deeply in love with rock.

　　Organizing the event for the first time, event organizer Lin Wei-Xiang indicated, they needed to create out of nothing and flesh out the details, and then discuss their ideas with the preparatory teams. The cross-campus presentation wouldn't have been possible without joint efforts on the parts of student clubs on different campus. The Pop Music Club on the Lantan Campus was in charge of general planning and division of work, the Popular Music Club on the Minghsiung Campus, equipment rental and site control; and the Rock Music Club on the Sinmin Campus, publicity and poster design.

　　Despite the hardship of preparation all the club members have gone through, event organizer Lin added, it is worthwhile as long as they could deliver a marvelous music experience for all the rock fans. The joint presentation is not only a platform to connect with friends old and new, but one to share their ideas of rock. By organizing the event, they hope to pass on the seeds of rock so that more and more people will fall into the world of rock and feel its unmatched magic power.
