What defines us
Established in 2008, the department of Banking and Finance at NCYU is one of the most young and dynamic departments in Taiwan. The goal of our education is two-fold: to lay solid foundation for the students for future studies in finance and related fields, and to expand the students' knowledge of finance to accommodate the changing needs of the industry.

Highlights

Our department features in the following facets:

Strong faculty members:
All full-time teachers own the finance-related Ph.D. degree from the well-known domestic and foreign universities. For the practical courses, the adjunct faculty members comes from professional accountants, insurance actuaries, and other higher level management in finance field.

An up-to-date course setup:
Apart from the recently edited basic core courses in the field of "securities investment", "corporate finance" and "financial markets and institutions," we highlight our course integration with the well-equipped finance lab to accommodate the students' needs for the recent Fintech trend.

Focus on employability and licenses: In the senior year, students will intern at related company and start working immediately after graduation. To increase employability, we also have supports for students to earn financial-related certificates (such as CFP, CFA and FRM) –including a mock test system. In most cases, the students have at least four licenses in hand before graduation and ready for employment.

Personal guidance:
As a young, small but dynamic program, students can maintain close contacts with the faculty members. Class sizes are relatively small. Attention is given on individual basis. We are enthusiastic to advice students on research projects, foreign academic exchanges, graduate studies and career planning.

Department of Banking and Finance, NCYU is Your Best Choice!

Proving students with the optimal learning environment is our first mission. Our faculty members always show enthusiasm in the teaching and research, and will help students to enjoy both the courses and lifestyle on offer at NCYU. We welcome you to join us and so take the first step on your future career.
