Installation steps for NCYU Campus licensed version of Microsoft software products for all faculties and students- Windows Vista / 7 and Office 2010

 Currently, the campus versions of Windows Vista / 7 and Office 2010 should be activated by KMS. Please login https://web085003.adm.ncyu.edu.tw/ and click “下載微軟授權軟體”. After downloading and installing the selected software product, please download the KMS file accordingly to finish the certification.

 To unify all certification processes in NCYU, the certification for the previous campus licensed version will be integrated into a new machine. If you have finished the certification for the previous version, you are required to do nothing now. After the period of 180 days, please download the KMS file to finish the certification again. It should be noticed that, all the campus licensed software can be installed only within the NCYU Campus authorization areas.

 According to the resolution passed in “Computer Consultation Committee in June 2010”, NCYU has purchased a Campus licensed version of Microsoft software product package for students. The package includes Windows Upgrades, Office Pro, and so on. The service life is one year. Within the period, all NCYU students are permitted to use above software products legally in NCYU campus (including all student dormitories). 

Under this contract, if NCYU students further purchase the compact disks and the serial numbers regarding Windows 7 and Office 2010, these two products can legally be used forever. (The products can still be used legally even though the buyer graduates from NCYU in the future.) If you need this service, please register at NCYU Computer Center. The compact disk for each product charges NT. 200. If you need both products, the total costs are NT. 400. Each serial number is for the buyer only, and the product is a stand-alone edition. Thus, the buyer has to contact with Microsoft for identity authentication before reinstalling the operating system. Please notice that the product may be invalidated if the buyer provides his serial number for others.

 From now to 2010/09/30, the student who wants to purchase the compact disk can prepare the student ID card and go to the third floor of Computer Center in Lantan Campus, or the third floor of Computer Center in Minghsiung Campus, or the second floor of Computer Center in Sinmin Campus. After the payment (no change return), the buyer will get a receipt. Please bring the receipt to get back the disk when the compact disks are ready.
