Dr. Jo-Chi Lin holds a D.M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin under professor Gregory Allen, an M.M. from the Eastman School of Music under professor Barry Snyder. Studied piano with Dr. Juanelva Rose at Tung-Hai University, Jo-Chi Lin won the First Prize at the Taichung city Contest Piano Section and the Forth Prize at the National Music Contest Piano Section, and was awarded many scholarships.

Dr. Lin now is teaching in National Taichung University, National Chia-Yi University, and National Tainan University, giving piano lessons and other courses, including Piano Literature, Western Music History, and Piano Chamber Music.
