This course first introduces the origin, formation, and concept of Kodaly method.  Then the presentation of classified Taiwanese songs and analysis of compositions are carried out, coupled with the separate teaching examples of singing,movement and dance, music theory, music listening,improvsing and composing, appreciation, and musical instruments.  Students are also made to read some books about Kodaly’s teaching theory, and, finally they have to practice the design of teaching activities and teaching itself.
