Conterpoint(III)

The main purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the practice of the polyphonic style of the eighteenth century, as well as some aspects of its theory and history. We will investigate this style through analytic exercises (mainly focus on J.S. Bach’s works, such as, Inventions and Fugues) and a number of written projects.
