張中茗老師
Lecture Skye Chang

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Skye Chang left her hometown to study in Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Australia at the age of 13. She then completed her undergraduate degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, USA, and then her graduate degree at the Northwestern University in Evanston.
 
Miss Chang attended several summer music camps during her study in the United States, including the Verbier Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival and Aspen Music Festival, in which she participated in the festival orchestras and also performed chamber music with her colleagues. Miss Chang won the Chimei fellowship in music in 1999.
 
Skye Chang's past trumpet teachers include David Bilger, The Principal Trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Jeffrey Curnow, The Associate Principal Trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Charles Guyer, Yoram Levy and Raymond Nei.
 
Skye Chang was a member of the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra from 2003 until 2008. She has been a member of the trumpet section in the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra since 2009. She teaches at the National Chiayi University and the Chingshui high school.
