葉明和老師

Min-Ho Yeh
holds degrees from the National Taiwan Normal University (B.A.), New England Conservatory (M.M.), and Indiana University (D.M.). His primary teachers include Yong Lai, Kao-Yong Lai, Wei-Leng Chen, Thomas Martin, and James Campbell.

 

He has appeared at festivals such as the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival (1997), the Festival of the Sound (2000), the ClarinetFests in Utah (2003), Japan (2005) and Atlanta (2006), and the Taiwan Connection Music Festival (2003, 2004). In May 2002, he was invited to perform in Boston, San Diego and Seattle as part of the Taiwanese-American Heritage Week concerts. His performance with the New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra was praised in the Boston Globe, and his solo/chamber performances at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, NY, in June 2003 was acclaimed in The New York Times.

 

He has been heard on several radio stations, including the CBC Radio (Canada), WFIU (Indiana), and KLRE (Arkansas). He has also appeared on recordings such as Bridges to Bloomington with Trio Indiana (Crystal Records), Angelus Novus: compositions of John Zorn (Tzadik Label), Contemporary American Wind Music with the NEC Wind Ensemble (Albany Records), and 66 Times—a music album of composer Shih-Hui Chen (Albany Records). His recent recordings include “J.S. Bach’s Six Organ Trio Sonatas” with Zephyr Trio (2004) and “Dancing Clarinets” with the Magic Clarinet Quartet (2007).

 

Dr. Yeh was a member of the Asian Youth Orchestra (1990), Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (1992–95), Conway Symphony Orchestra (2002-06), and Sunaura Woodwind Trio (2002-06); he has also performed with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Orchestra (IN), Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and Pine Bluff Symphony (AR). He has been Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the National Kaohsiung Normal University since August 2006.
