Our faculty members have plentiful research experiences and treatises. In addition to publishing papers on academic periodicals and treatises, Teachers in our department receive grants extensively from National Science Council, Ministry of Education, Mongolian & Tibetan Affairs Commission, local government agencies and private companies. In addition, we have frequent interaction with internal and international academic communities.

     In the history program, our research fields include Taiwan History, Northern Asia History, and History of Wei, Chin, Han, Nan-Bei, Song, Yuan, three kingdoms Dynasties. In the geography program, we cover the research fields in social geography, regional geography, economic geography, cultural geography, religious, climate and geology.
