Call for Volunteers for Annual Schweitzer Program 2018

The Annual Schweitzer Program is founded by Ministry of Education, Taiwan. This program aims to encourage students who are taking the teacher training courses or international students who are education oriented to devote their pedagogic competence to those underprivileged children in Taiwan.  For 2018, the Schweitzer Program of National Chiayi University will be held July 2-20 in Da-Nang Primary School (No. 15, Da-Nang Village, Da-Tsau Bu,Mei-Shan County, Chiayi 603 ) from Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm (120 hours).

Two participants are reserved for international students to take part of this 2018 Schweitzer Program. Those who are interested in this program need to register in The Teacher Training Center using the registry form below. Please mail or fax the registry form to the office of Teacher Training Center (Science Building 3^rd floor on Min-Shiung campus; fax number: 886-5-226-9631). We will select 2 participants on October 3^th at 12:30 pm if we have more than 2 international students registered. We encourage the participants to fulfill at least 112 hours so that a certificate for this participation will be issued by the Ministry of Education.

Each participant will be granted of $150 NTD/day ($2250 NTD for 15 days, including accommodation and transportation expenses ) plus lunch and insurance. Should you have any questions, please email to lhf54@mail.ncyu.edu.tw
