Welcome to 2011 CFA Institute Global Investment Research Challenge®

The Global IRC offers students the unique opportunity to learn from leading industry experts and compete with peers from the world’s top finance programs. This annual educational initiative promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills.

How the Challenge works

Together society leaders and local universities assembled university teams of 3-5 students each. Teams are mentored by industry professionals in writing an equity research report on a publicly traded company. The teams present their findings to a distinguished panel of experts.

Taiwan Final: Taipei on January 25 (tentative)

Regional Final: Bali, Indonesia on February 25, 2011

Global Final: Omaha, Nebrasks, USA on April 8, 2011
