Introduction

　　Recreation and Tourism is the important national development policy. Both government agencies and private industries are requiring quality human resources. Graduate institute of leisure, recreation and tourism management aims to provide systematic programs to foster travel and hospitality management professionals. This institute focuses on two special interest areas. Commercial Recreation Management emphasizes on hospitality business management, leisure service quality, investment planning for commercial recreation, and performance evaluation for leisure business. Rural Tourism Management gives emphasis to rural tourism management, tourism planning and development, recreation resource management, and recreation impact management. 

　　 This institute offers MS degree. In addition, students can choose an add-on MBA certificated program to enhance their general business knowledge. Our MBAcertificated program is offered under Business School. Besides academic training, thisinstitute aggressively builds cooperative relationships with government agencies and travel and hospitality industries. The center of Leisure Industry Management is organized to provide extension services to the fields. Though this extension center, it will provide more practical opportunities to our faculties and students. On the other hand, being a member of our society, it is our responsibility to contribute in our own professional field.
